Horsham, PA, July 15, 2021 – Myonex, a leading global clinical trial supply company, is preparing to open its new, state-of-the-art, GMP facility in Horsham, PA, USA. As its new global headquarters, the facility will have the capacity to store drug products, equipment, and supplies for its clients’ clinical trials – no matter the temperature.
Within the 45,000 sq. ft. warehouse is an impressive cold storage unit available for drug products that must be stored in a refrigerated or frozen area. The 4,400 sq. ft., 2-8C cold-storage room can accommodate 344 pallets and includes a quarantine cage and a controlled substance cage. For products that need to be stored at -20C, Myonex has installed a 200 sq. ft. walk-in freezer. Two secondary production rooms and a staging room will allow for refrigerated packaging and labeling. With the addition of -80C freezers as well, Myonex can cover all frozen or refrigerated storage needs.
