Ultra-cold capabilities in the spotlight: Val d’Europe visits our Bailly-Romainvilliers site

As part of the French National Day of Biomanufacturing of Biomedicines (JNBB) in early July, we were pleased to welcome a delegation from Val d’Europe to our Bailly-Romainvilliers facility -home to one of Europe’s most advanced infrastructures dedicated to pharmaceutical ultra-cold storage.

Established in the heart of the Val d’Europe territory since 2000, Myonex’s Bailly facility plays a strategic role in two critical areas:

  • Supporting the supply chain of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), with cryogenic storage solutions ranging from -80°C to -196°C
  •  Providing secure, short to long-term storage of biological samples – both clinical and preclinical – through our biobanking services

These activities require a highly specialized environment, combining strict regulatory compliance, cutting-edge equipment, and expertly trained teams – including our cryopreservation expert and trainer, Frédéric Malboze, who features in the video below alongside Site Head Vincent Le Fol.

For Val d’Europe, a region promoted under the “Fields of Opportunities” territorial brand, this visit was an opportunity to highlight how Myonex contributes to a thriving local innovation ecosystem. Launched in 2021, this initiative aims to raise the region’s profile, foster collaboration, and attract high-potential players in science and industry.

Watch the video to step inside our cryogenic infrastructure and discover how we safeguard today’s most sensitive and valuable biological materials.
